Pay-period conversion
Salary calculator
Enter a pay amount and the period it belongs to. This calculator converts that amount into equivalent hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual pay using the working assumptions you choose. It does not estimate taxes or take-home pay.
Equivalent pay periods
Enter an amount and calculate to see equivalent hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual pay.
How the conversion works
Every result is derived from the same annual figure. Hourly pay is multiplied by hours per week and paid weeks per year. Daily pay uses days per week and paid weeks per year. Weekly pay uses paid weeks per year. Monthly pay uses salary payments per year. An optional annual bonus is added after that conversion. Figures are rounded to cash amounts in the selected currency.
These results are equivalent pay-period amounts in the same currency. They are not a net salary, take-home estimate, or tax calculation.
Questions
How does this convert hourly pay to an annual salary?
It multiplies hourly pay by hours per week and paid weeks per year. The defaults are 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year, with no unpaid weeks. You can change those assumptions. The conversion is pay-period math only.
What does salary payments per year mean?
Monthly pay is converted using how many salary payments you receive in a year. The default is 12. Choose 13 if you receive a thirteenth salary payment.
Does this calculate take-home pay or tax?
No. Results are equivalent pay amounts for each period in the same currency. They do not subtract taxes, social contributions, or other deductions.
Does this calculate Swiss net salary?
No. This page converts pay periods only. Swiss 2026 employee payroll deductions are a separate Salary page, and that page still does not calculate ordinary income tax.
Can I share a link that includes my salary amount?
No. The public page address is the calculator itself. It does not include your pay amount, assumptions, or results.
